NL: Wie zit er achter de lens?
Hey! Mijn naam is Freddy Delagaye Jr. en ik woon in Kortrijk.
Fotografie van events en mensen in het algemeen ligt me het best, maar als het thema me aanspreekt ga ik zelden een uitdaging uit de weg.
Van familie shoots, huwelijken, communies, modeshoots tot live optredens en festivals...mensen blijven me uitermate boeien en verrassen!
Spontane foto's van mensen in hun element, waarbij je de sfeer kan opsnuiven van de locatie, daar ga ik graag voor!
Ik probeer me aan te passen naar de setting en zo op subtiele wijze het beste naar boven te halen van wie voor mijn lens passeert.
Waar eerst de technische kant mij vooral interesseerde heb ik me in de corona periode toegelegd op het studeren van de kunst van het fotograferen in CVO Scala.
Deze uit de hand gelopen hobby heeft geleid tot heel wat leuke nieuwe kennismakingen en ervaringen. Op deze website heb ik de beelden gebundeld waar ik het meest fier op ben.
Persoonlijk heb ik verder een passie voor straatfotografie, padel en reizen, dat zal je ook merken aan mijn instagram feed...of aan mijn uit de hand gelopen verzameling fotografieboeken en vintage lenzen!

Photography of events and people in general is what I feel most comfortable with, but if the theme appeals to me, I rarely shy away from a challenge.
From family portraits, weddings, communions, fashion shoots to live performances and festivals... people continue to fascinate and surprise me!
Spontaneous images of people being themselves in a relaxed atmosphere, where you can feel the vibe of the event or location, that's what I love to deliver in my photographs!
I try to adapt to the setting and in a subtle way bring out the best of whoever passes in front of my lens.
Where at first the technical side mainly interested me, during the corona period I focused on studying the art of photography at CVO Scala.
What started out as a hobby, got a bit out of hand and has led to many nice new acquaintances and experiences. On this website I have collected the images that I feel most proud of.
Personally, I also have a passion for street photography, padel and traveling, you will also notice that on my instagram feed...or in my out of control collection of photography books and vintage lenses!
